Watching that game with Alabama having 5 turnovers and a lackluster defensive effort, that "didn't wanna be there" excuse or reason does not seem farfetched.
And aside from that, it was a great win for OU.
OU played loose, aggressive and fearless that night....and Trevor Knight had a "Cinderella" game unlike any in OU history.

That game hurt. We were without Mixon in second half. Kind of like when we did not have DeMarco against Florida.
Zach and Geneo owned that bama offense.

Striker made a nice impression too.
No doubt about it. Striker was a disruptive sack machine that game. All I'm seein these days from OUr defense is uninspired entitled athletes. Distracted by the blm and 420. And an institution that seemingly wants to promote it.

Perine went down early in Q3 just after Clemson took the lead. I ran errands the rest of the afternoon until just now. My goodness how did Satan not run Henry every play VS OU in that game and how many more years was he there afterwards ?

Lacoltan Bester was a beast in that game for us as was Jalen Saunders. I agree if Saban would have run Henry they probably would have won, we couldn't stop him .
Wait a second are we suggesting Saban made a bad coaching decision?
Just to be clear, OU was winning that game regardless. And while Striker was in Bama's backfield more than Henry, playing a different rb was not changing the outcome...IMO.
