The football rumor mill churns in Fayetteville after stand-out WR Mike Woods says he's leaving Arky as a graduate transfer. Is Norman a landing spot? The suspension of OU's Trejan Bridges leaves a gap in the Sooner receiving corps, so don't be surprised if Woods heads west to compete for a spot on the highly-ranked Oklahoma football team.

No, but Woods' resume for 2020 included 32 catches for 619 yards and 5 touchdowns with an average yards per catch of 19 yards.....while playing for a very poor Arkansas team.
If he's interested in OU, I doubt if Riley turns him away.

He kind of faded after 2 bigger games against the Gators and Geaux Tigers. Time for own receiver talent to get seasoned.

He's a quality player and OU, having lost Rambo, Howard, Bridges, Obialo and West from last year, might consider pursuing him.
No debate that OU is in a "take it or leave it" situation as far as adding depth at WR so I'm not concerned if Woods goes elsewhere.
But he said to be a very good deep threat and probably would be an even better player playing in Riley's offense.

Riley did pick up Woods off the portal today. So I guess Bridges is a goner.

A real disappointment like that Metoyer 5 star guy. Onwards and upwards for the Sooners. With Wease injured, Woods is a good fill in.

Very true.
And when OU has its recruiting haul finalized each year I have to remember that injuries, suspensions, transfers and early departures to the NFL will be inevitable so I'm never surprised when a player's college career is shortened.
