Schoonerman......A Tribute to your famous father-in-law

Thanks for sharing bullmarket. Danny was certainly a "character" and things were always entertaining with him around.

One quick story about him.... We were in Norman and Danny came down from OKC to play golf at Jimmie Austin GC with me and have dinner with his daughters that evening. We go to the course for our afternoon tee time, but all the carts were either being used or were being recharged. So, they gave us an adult beverage and asked us to wait in the lounge. We walked into the lounge and about a dozen guys were sitting around bragging about their golf game, when one guys says, "Hey, there's Danny Williams." It was almost as if a flip were switched and a spotlight was on him as he launched into an ad-lib comedy routine about golfers. All of it off the top of his head and within minutes, he had the room howling with laughter.

The guy had this incredible knack for entertaining people and I always enjoyed being with him. He truly was a one-in-a-million kind of guy who always lit up a room. Thanks to all for the kind words about him. I'll share this with my wife as I know she'll be pleased at all the nice memories of him.
