Nice that they want to sign him. Sam did play much better the last half of the seasons. I just wish the Eagles would draft some linemen to protect him instead of going after their next QB

Kelly's offense might be pretty dangerous with the right quarterback, but he's not the quarterback for at offense. And vice versa. I think firing Kelly was a signal that the Eagles' higher ups liked Sam as their quarterback, but wants something a little more suited to Sam at quarterback and DeMarco Murray at tailback. And Kelly ain't changing offenses.

The big irony here is that he moved to the 49er's who have the perfect quarterback to run his offense. And Collin wants to be traded. So does DeMarco in Philly. No wonder I like college football so much more than the NFL.

But I'm glad Sam is going to get his chance with some talent around him. Let's hope he survives a change of offense.
