OU off next week, 10/17, then:
@TCU
@Texas Tech
Kansas
OSU
@WVA
Baylor
That's three away, three at home, with very tough games vs TCU, Texas Tech and West Virginia on the road.
Only Kansas at home looks by far the easiest game. All of the other five games will be difficult, which I believe will serve the team and its coaches well in the long run.
This 2020 season looks like a time for OU to mature and develop its young talent to lay a foundation for 2021 and beyond. Even if OU struggles to a 6-4 record (losing two more games) and plays in a bowl, that is (or could be) 15 more practice sessions in bowl preparation which will help develop the team further going into next year.
2020 is really not a lost season if the team improves and focuses on the future....as well as, of course.....winning the last 6 games.
