I feel like I'm doom-scrolling looking at all these thread titles. So let's try and see what people are excited to see or positive notes for next season. I'll start!

1. Obviously John Mateer. I think he's gonna bring a spark to the offense that the guys can rally around and we'll see it paying dividends early. There were several times I saw the O-line kinda give up later in games last season and I don't blame them with how inept and stale the offense looked, but I don't think that'll be a problem anymore.

2. The freshman. Manny Choice, Elijah Thomas, Courtland Guillary, and Maliek Hawkins. I think they can add much needed depth early much like Eli Bowen did at positions that a lot of fans have had questions about. Also, that may be the thinking of the coaches seeing how they've pursued the portal at CB and WR. They may not obviously be starters off the rip but no doubt rotational pieces that can produce as needed.

3. We have a tough schedule, but there is massive turnover at key positions for most of the teams we play. Mizzoo, Ole miss, and Alabama will be with new QB's at minimum. LSU and Tennessee are retaining their QB1 but losing key contributors on both sides of the ball outside of quarterback. In summary, it's more doable than it looks currently.

4. IF YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT THE DEFENSE WELL DON'T.

What do you guys think?
