“Former Hawaii quarterback Dru Brown announced on Twitter that he is heading to Oklahoma State as a graduate transfer for his final season.

Brown posted the news on Twitter late Saturday night.

Over his two seasons at Hawaii, Brown completed 62.0 percent of his passes for 5,273 yards with 37 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

He will join the rest of the Oklahoma State quarterbacks — primarily senior Taylor Cornelius, sophomore Keondre Wudtee and incoming freshman Spencer Sanders — in competition to become the starter in the fall.

According to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Brown will graduate after Hawaii’s first summer session, meaning he would be able to join the Cowboys in mid-summer and take part in fall camp.”
