Here's the list:
1. Florida (46-5)
2. Florida St. (48-3-1)
3. Arizona (47-5)
4. Washington (38-10)
5. Auburn (43-8)
6. Oregon (41-6)
7. Minnesota (48-3)
8. Tennessee (42-8)
9. Texas A&M (41-7)
10. UCLA (37-12)
The problem isn't making the top ten. It's making the top eight.UCLA is beating number 3 Arizona. UA isn't dropping out of the top eight. And we're not going to move up on UCLA despite having beat them badly, by run rule.
Oregon run ruled Florida State in the first game of a 3 game series. They're playing game two right now. No Score early. The three games are in Eugene. We're not passing FSU. Oregon will be further away, not closer.
We will most likely end up at Auburn or Oregon in the Supers. It will be a very tough task. Still some changes coming. But one reason they released a top ten is because those are the teams in contention for a top eight. Utah won't be in the top 12, I don't believe. They are playing at Oregon State this weekend, and are 0-2 and scored one run in 14 innings. Oregon State is 49 in the RPI, which is outside of the NCAA field most seasons. Beating Utah at least twice will help them a little, but the point is, it's been a bad weekend for the Utes. I'd guess we don't have to worry about LSU or Baylor any more
The way things are now, even if we are 11th, we'd have to pass UCLA and A&M and UTenn, and I doubt all three are possible.
