Plaino Syberite & other OU Softball fans OU is the only undefeated team in the nation on the road

A&M lost to Alabama in the Aggies' first game of the SEC tournament. And LSU just knocked off Tennessee in the Vols' first game. So with UTenn, A&M and Baylor the three teams that are immediately ahead of OU, who's 11th in the RPI, with Baylor being the other, if the Sooners sweep the XII tourney, it would seem possible to move up three spots into that coveted 8th spot in the seedings. Maybe not likely, certainly not a certainty, but definitely a possibility.

OU sweeping isn't a done deal for sure, but the door seems to be ajar, at least a little.

I watched Tennessee at home playing LSU Tennessee's young pitching is very average
and Tennessee is very sloppy at defense....errors, passed balls wild pitches.
Tenn at home was very unimpressive.

With the roadblock to #8 knocked down, OKLAHOMA WHO IS THE NATION'S HOTTEST TEAM (24 wins out of our last 25 games) & BEING #6 IN BOTH MAJOR POLLS I SAY OU ALMOST IS A LOCK FOR #8 with Tenn & Texas A&M both losing at their homes IF OU WINS OUT.

Bull, I wouldn't say the roadblock is knocked down. Just the post season tourney, isn't all that will be considered> if that were the case, then when OU took two of three from Baylor, we'd have passed them. But today didn't hurt the cause.

Last week we moved up two spots after sweeping OSU.
This week we now can move up three spots if we sweep.
With Tenn getting stomped at home and looking very bad doing it & overrated Texas A&M losing at home.we can now determine our own destiny winning out & Baylor losing.

The polls will help also with us at #6 in both.
And OU is the nation's hottest team at just the right time winning 24 out of last 25. How a team finishes in the last month of the season is an important factor in the seeding.
No team in the nation is hotter than Oklahoma is.

And Plaino I think OSU knocks off Baylor tomorrow eliminating them.

Bull, if it were as rosy as you portrayed, then we'd already be in the committee's top ten. The last vote by them before the seeding, we're at least two from the top eight. We weren't in their top ten.

You may be right about OSU, but I'd rather beat Baylor in the finals. We get more credit for beating Baylor because they're top 15. As of Monday, OSU wasn't top 35.
