This game is hard to enjoy. OU is getting fouled nearly every time down the floor and the refs swallow their whistles. Blatant fouls too.

Weather the storm and hope for the best.

Refs allowed W.V. to hack Trae the entire first half. Sooners never recovered.

Yeah, I didn't have high hopes for this game, as I thought it was a perfect storm to defeat this OU squad:

- Best defensive team in the country.
- A defensive style we had not seen yet, let alone to the level of excellence they run that press.
- The best defensive player in the country just happens to be their PG.
- The game was in Morgantown.
- They have veteran guards.

That being said, I was really glad that this game came when it did. Now we have the trip the WVU out of the way early in the conference season and now the team has seen how tough a defense can be. Everything else from here will seem easier, and they'll be better prepared for the return game against WVU in Norman.

Our best players are all underclassmen. They should improve on a weekly basis.

I knew that was going to be a tough game. West Virginia has a really good team, and I figured that they would get the 50/50 calls at home and they did. Hopefully we'll play better at home and the 50/50 calls should go our way in our own building.

I really didn't like the play clock operation. Of course it happened while we were on offense every time. Definitely some home court advantage there.
