Good, god, the Mavs are a really bad team. And they got worse with a horrible acquisition. They can't defend a decent post man on any team. The Laker game was an embarrassment with more to come. Luka recently makes LeBron look like an MVP.

My 2 cents:

They underutilize Wood and they really need Kleber back. They give up a lot of offensive rebounds and it may be time to get McGee in more often.

When you give up a 3 run shot and then strand 9 guys on base, hard to win. I have never been a fan of JT Gasso, this team needs to play some small ball, get on base and move them around with bunts, and slaps. JT is all about homeruns, should have easily won this game with the proper game plan.
OMG, the Sooners are dropping bombs! I love the way they hit.

I occasionally get frustrated when we hit 18 fly balls in a game. But tough hitting days are going to happen. I really don't think he is teaching everybody to try to hit homeruns. But he does teach swinging hard. I think part of that is being decisive at the plate.

Like it or not, we've won two straight national titles, while having the best offense in the country. I suspect that if you asked the best homerun hitter in the history of softball, she's have high praise for J.T. I'd take her point of view over anybody else's.

Come on now, wouldn’t you love to have JT’s success.

The teams I follow have really made me appreciate what Oklahoma's softball team does...step up to the moment. Seems so rare for a Sooner fan these days. Between the Sooners football, men's basketball and the Mavericks it seems like it's been a parade of choke jobs for months.

I can tolerate losing. I've grown old enough to know that annual perfection is a childish dream. But I really need to seem some heart and fight and grit from the Sooners on the gridiron in '23.

I've watched about 15 of the ladies games so far and I won't take for granted what they give us, even if they fall short of a 3 peat.

BC, These young women have lived up to the hype in softball and that in itself is refreshing. We can't say the same for football and certainly not mens basketball. At this point the women sports have been the best thing at OU this year as far as athletics go. The basketball team represented well even though they fell to UCLA.

Let's just hope the baseball team gets hot again around regionals and the football team comes out with a new attitude this next football season. Men's Basketball? Who knows after this last season.

I know there’s a lot of games to come, but I’ve watched every televised game played this year and feel really good about another Natty. Maybe not as solid as last year but these girls are ready to compete.

I agree with you about the possibility of a natty. But I think there's maybe a 10% chance that we don't even win the conference. Now that we've got Grace Lyons back, we'll see how everything looks. Storako is looking like a really solid number 1, and she's not going to be worn down like she did in Ann Arbor.
