Those 40 minutes came and went.
*Obviously, a lot of attention on L'Damian Washington. I mean he didn't look out of place. He was vocal. He wasn't being coddled by Jeff Lebby and/or Brent Venables. He was running the show. Nothing out of the ordinary with the wide receivers or anything like that.
*If you trust rotation order, then Davis Beville is your backup quarterback right now, followed by Micah Bowens, General Booty and Nick Evers. If rotation order means jack 'n squat on Aug. 8, then meh. Dillon Gabriel looked in control, not a shock.
*Only one player who was out there but not practicing - running back Jovantae Barnes. He was on the exercise bike. It looked like an arm (?) injury to me. I could be off, but he definitely wasn't going through any drills. Was good to see Marcus Major back out there after never getting to see him during the spring.

*Andrew Raym looked good, comfortable. That's something I'll be watching the whole preseason camp whenever we get a chance to be out there.
*I flat-out didn't spend much time at all with the DL. I'll get around to that a lot more next week. Wanted to watch a lot of WR interactions.
*Jayden Rowe, Gentry Williams and Trey Morrison all working with Jay Valai. Williams had a really nice hit in the modern day Oklahoma drill that got coaches and teammates fired up.
*One player couldn't find was Brey Walker. Don't know if that means anything, just pointing it out. Saw, I think, every other scholarship player out there. Really enjoyed watching Savion Byrd and Anton Harrison work.
*Brent Venables spent some of time we were there working with the linebackers. Ugwoegbu being 15-20 pounds lighter is very noticeable. Thought Danny Stutsman had a couple real quality reps, fwiw.
*For those unaware, it's a dead period so no recruits on campus.
*We'll wrap it up with some tweets, then I think we're podding (maybe?). Again, no interviews this afternoon.
