OU in

That raggedy one-man band that got kicked around by the Big 12 is unlikely to have the switch come this late, but it wouldn't be a bright light anyway.

If they are lucky, they could win one. They don't strike me as lucky, though. They need a divine light to get farther than 2nd round.

I guess the odds makers did not watch OU play the last 7 weeks of the season, because they have the game with Rhode Island as an even pick 'em game. Should OU prevail, they will most likely see Duke next. :(

Why?
Why were they selected?
I find this a complete joke.
Perhaps it's because they want to have Trey play in the tourney just for notoriety. I don't have a clue, but it's pretty bad.

OU stacked up enough wins in the first 6-7 weeks of the season to warrant a bid, based on the Committee's criteria. To NOT put them in, the Committee would have to admit that their criteria is crap, and they were never going to admit that. So, they give them a winnable game, and even if they lose, they can point to the seeding and say RI was higher seeded, so expected OU to lose. I doubt the Committee will adjust the criteria to say winning early is less meaningful, since they've been pushing for early season "tough" games to avoid teams scheduling Non-Conference patsies and stacking up wins.

Can't overlook the obvious omission of OSU, USC, and Louisville either. FBI investigations seems to be a reason to leave teams out. Clear message from the Committee here, even if they don't say it out loud.

Well, I happen to be about an hour and a half away from Pittsburgh, here in beautiful Canton, Ohio, and I could go to the game this week, except that it is in the middle of the freaking workday! Hmmm, I'll have to see if I am feeling sick on Thursday morning... I'm sure OU could benefit from me yelling my guts out at the game... Or maybe they could play normal and lose by 15.... :/

Or I could keep my money in my pocket and watch the game on the Internet... Those tickets are expensive!
