OU has the best chance as any outside of Alabama for the playoffs in 2017

Clemson and FSU will be stacked. I think whoever wins the ACC, gets my vote

On paper and on June 5th, this scenario looks realistic, even though I read the same proclamation on this board prior to every season.
The Big 12 is not as formidable as it's been and OU looks to be very good, even with a few issues at LB, WR and OL.
I'm waiting to see if OU can stay unbeaten through its game with Texas (which includes games with Houston, Ohio State and TCU).....and even more importantly, if Mayfield can stay healthy, plus how well Kendall can spell him whenever called upon. As I have said often, if there's no Mayfield, there's no championship of any kind. OU needs a safety net behind Mayfield.

Agree with every word except for the next to last two sentence CT. OU has won championships before when the first QB has been sidelined for the season, granted it would be much more difficult, imho sir.
Don't know if I would compare Holieway's impact in 1985 on whatever impact Kendall may have on this team's success. Hope it's as significant if need be.

If we make it through Texas unscathed up to that point, we're CFP bound. No doubt in my mind. I have us losing to tOSU. If that doesn't happen, we'll be the #1 seed come December.

We 'owe' Clemson a biggo can of whup azzz...
Even if we lose to bucknuts it will be early enough in the season to make it IF that's our only loss & depending on hundreds of other variables. "Parity", you've got to love to hate it...
