Westmoore standout Kyle Tyler has been named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Oklahoma after leading the Jaguars to a runner-up finish in 6A.
* Tyler posted a 10-0 record with a 0.70 ERA and a single-season school record 102 strikeouts over the course of 60 innings this past season, holding opposing hitters to a .103 batting average and a 0.60 WHIP. Offensively he held a .437 on-base percentage and scored 23 runs.
* Tyler was selected as a 2014 Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American selection
* Tyler has signed with Oklahoma along with teammate Hunter Southerland. The Sooners 2015 signing class is currently ranked No.24 in the country by Perfect Game.
