Navigating the Royals lineup is like trying to negotiate a mine field. Kansas City has all the pieces in place so they should be a contender for awhile. The only drawback is the fact that they're a small market team which makes it difficult to keep a championship team intact.
The Mets have nothing to be ashamed of, however. Their only advantage in this matchup was their starting pitching which is young and powerful. With their resources, the team should be able to hang onto those promising arms for awhile. They lost this because of their bullpen and their inability to make consistent contact. Not being able to throw out any baserunners didn't help their cause.
