My last intoxication was the Friday night of October 8, 1976 on the eve of the OU-Texas game. I was hung over for four days and vowed never to do this to myself again.
So far, so good.
Booze and pot were two things I walked away from years ago. No regrets. This stuff comes back to haunt you after age 50....big time.

True story SS. I used to camp every holiday on Lake Eufuala. They have a place called "Sand Island" where all the younger folks hung out. They would drink right out of liquor bottles or from bongs. Great time right?

Not one particular 4th. Two people were life flighted by helicopter for alcoholic overdose. One was dead when they arrived and the other died on flight.

Ruined my weekend.
