Since you guys are being so helpful with my truck thread, let’s solve this one too. I have three kids, 9 mos, 2 years and almost 5. I have a boat itch and am scratching it. I was fully convinced a nice pontoon was the way to go. Then my buddy bought a 2014 Cobalt and I’m all like — why was I ever even thinking about a pontoon!! Completely pivoted away from the pontoon, spent two days trying to figure out which Chaparral I was going to buy, and then last night I just got to thinking I’m going to need a lot of shade. Shade is the most important thing I guess right with a 9 mos old that will need to nap and stuff. But when the wife and I can get a sitter when things return a little more back to normal, a lot sexier to take the Chap to the lake for a few hours than the ole pontoon!
We live in San Antonio and there are a lot of lakes around here so we plan on just day tripping and spending 4-8 hours at the lake ...
