Well here we go... it's kinda a strange draft already in that unlike the most recent years, the RB position seems like there may be at least one, maybe two RBs selected in the first run of this year's draft. In addition, two different teams gave up a huge amounts of picks to move up to select QBs from mid-majors and were relatively off the radar of main stream sports reporting last season.
It should be fun to watch where our Sooners land tonight/tomorrow. I'm hoping Tapper goes to Dallas. But whoever the Cowboys select, I predict the haters will blast the pick(s) and fault JJ. Ironically, while he's been around the last 3 drafts, he has not had the final say, but most do not even know this.
I'm hoping Shep lands in a good spot. He's been such a gratifying and unselfish Sooner. I wish the kid the best and hope all of his NFL dreams come true. In addition, I hope he makes a huge amount of money!
