Well, take it from me...with some experience starting with the advent of the birth control pill to when it all went to dross with herpes and aids.
I was a consummate tail wrangler back in the day.
I scored with some babes that were intimidatingly good looking...for one reason only.
I was willing to totally humiliate myself in that quest...and more often than not, it worked.
It was the golden era.
We might need to take it to e-mail.
For all you readers that are wondering what the heck we're talking about...Zero's grandfather is a legendary football announcer of all the football games at Catoosa from the late 50's up to the 80's. He was our Bob Barry, Mike Treps, etc.

Right there with you. I came into my own in about 85 and of course AID's came about and that kind of ruined the vibe for a while.

Actually, as iasooner can vouch for, I live in a world that contains ridiculously hot women. Between my sister in law and my wife's friends, I've learned to wear tight underwear, dark sunglasses, and avoid any situation where my wearing of a bathing suit would be required. Oh and I take a shit load of beta blockers and antidepressants to squelch the unnatural and criminal desires.

Oh, if you knew the whole story. Starts with WW2, my real father that I never knew, to zero's grandfather, father and Uncles.....

It's all history to me. I lived part of it, but it's all interesting history. I didn't get it all, maybe a generational thing...but it's all very interesting. How does it have to do with Sooner anything you ask? I've never known bigger Sooner fans. I remember being told "Children are seen and not heard" during a game. LOL
I remember long distance phone calls to taunt people about the outcome of a game when during that time you didn't do a long distance phone call except during Christmas...and you had people lined up ready to take the phone to hurry through the progression of well wishes because it was so expensive.

You are just jealous Fitty. I've got something in common with you too though. I appreciate the female form and am likely too old to appreciate it in person.

Yep, it was pretty cool.
I lived in Ft. Worth in the early seventies. If a gal came up to you and ask if, 'You want to party?'.
You were fixing to get your junk glazed.
The gals were very aggressive back then...it was the best of times.
(especially the Texas girls...they were special)

I might add to the contrary of law enforcement that the Mr. Distiller has kept me and a few friends busy this early fall.
I would love to hear the recipes Medic. I'm partial to IPA's but a good Ale also works. I'd love to get any recipes that your friends might have and try them out.
The boys from Texas brew their beer all wrong...It's way to thin and not too strong.
We call those "cheaters" where I'm from. Going to the state fair, the lake, the beach, wherever a bunch of hot women will be around? Don't forget your cheaters!

You really thought there was no booze in Saudi? Quite the opposite...had to get out of Saudi to sober up. They sell fruit juice in glass bottles with ceramic/wire corks. Perfect for making wine. I was not in the military in Saudi and there was no "bases" then.Mmm, I thought they whacked people for imbibing there.
I guess you got special dispensation for being on 'American soil', IE the base. Got it.

It was on purpose. I actually think the song is funny. I've sang it a few times during Karaoke to a room full of Schlonghorns for giggles.
