OT: H-Town is lit tonight

I grew up a Cardinal fan. Saw my first major league game at the old Sportsmans Park. Ironically, growing up in Tulsa, the Oilers were a Reds farm club until the Cards took over in the 60's. I remember when the Oilers double-play combo was McMillan to Temple, to Adcock.

I have hoped they would try and keep Cole but Urquides and McCullers behind the big 2 of JV and Grienke ain't bad. I think they will trade Reddick & start Tucker in RF. Dont think they will keep Miley either.

I want to see Cole get his money but to be honest, I hope it's not Astro money. My thoughts are that he's not going to be able to throw that hard for another 8 years, much less 10. He's in his prime right now. The window of time that the Astros have had him is cheap as compared to his next year's contract. And it gets even cheaper if he wins a WS.

I saw my first game at the old Colt 45 stadium. I've been a fan of Houston baseball ever since and remember my Dad taking me to literally watch the cranes working as they built the Astrodome.
