OT "drumming"

While heading to hunt, after yesterday's game, my dad and I agreed that this topic kinda perturbed us. We listened to part of the osu-UTSA game along the way. Dad mentioned the 'drumming' that the row one seats tend to do, with paddles against the stadium wall. Isn't there a rule against them doing that? It seems like I had read they were no longer permitted to drum while the opposing team was on offense. Regardless of my recollection, it seems like they ought to have to turn in their noise-makers at the gate. Yelling/screaming, by the home crowd, should be more than sufficient. Just another reason to hate those idiots...
