How y'all doing?
Here in the metro Coweta area we have constant rain, wind and about 37 degrees.

Pretty crappy all in all. I hope it stays above freezing...I have VIP guests coming soon.
Just wondering how everyone is doing. Snow, ice, naders...what do ya got?

Freezing rain and sleet in Canadian County. Power has been on and off. No problem at the 22 compound as we're easily off the grid, up and running. Worst weather yet to come.

55-60 degrees in Connecticut and it's been in the upper 60's-70 over the past week.....like a Houston December.
God will make us pay in January-February. She's toying with us right now.

Speaking of Houston, it broke a 144 yr high yesterday. We've had spotty rain and the temp has dropped but north Texas got the worst.

This global raining is getting on my last nerve. My back acre is under 6" of water. The pond is overflowing and my roof sprung a leak. The only good that can come from this is I will have a bumper crop of frogs this spring. Nothing like frog legs, unless you count calf fries..................:)

My power has been on sporadically for two days. AT&T service on my iPhone is still fine, which gives me Internet access. And I can ignore incoming calls, "because the power was out". :)

A Honda quiet inverter generator at night to keep the fridge and furnace going. A noisy but powerful Briggs and Stratton powered TroyBilt during the day. That said... I'm ready for the sun to shine.

I lost power for 2 hours today/yesterday. I have a generator, but it's to much of a hassle getting it out of the basement.... A huge wind storm came through..............

Years ago, I made a generator "house" out back of my house with one of those big plastic dog houses you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot. I keep the bigger generator in there, chained to a concrete block in the ground. The main cords are kept there too. It's easy to get up and running that way.

Well I'm leaving BA to open up my Papa Murphy's this morning. Sure hope it clears up soon for everyone's sake.

Should be a great couple of weeks with OU taking number 8 ;). When OU is winning business is great and the same goes for the Thunder. Too bad my employees don't get to watch the game however if they sneak a tv into my store I won't blame them.

Happy New Year to all and please don't drink and drive.

Back at ya NCTIME.
BTW, you guys make a good cook and serve pie. Good fellow for allowing the TV for the game.

Be safe, happy new year and let's get 8!

I have one customer in Rowlett and saw a weather report that showed a map of the swath of the F3 tornado that tore through her neighborhood. I texted her to make sure she was all right. She told me the electricity went off and then her house shook while it was passing by. Her house was totally intact, but four blocks away, it looked like a war zone. No one died in Rowlett that they know of, but there were 11 known fatalities in the whole area as we went to bed last night.

For the day after Christmas, that's pretty much unheard of before. But the high temp Saturday morning was in the low 80s and less than 24 hours later is was in the low 40s. Last night, it got into the 30s. A friend I talk to occasionally in Arlington told me there was snow this morning over there. Just a reminder that Arlington is the site of the other semifinal.

2015 is the weirdest weather of my 51 years in the DFW area, we will set the all time record for precipitation in one year by several inches in a year when we had three months of drought with almost no precip at all. That record was already broken before the last two days when it pretty much never stopped raining and some of it was inch an hour stuff.
