The fist fight story is very familiar to me.
Once in 7th grade, I wasn't playing sports yet and was about the only one in my group who didn't - I was hanging with the athletes.
Somehow, we got off on fighting and I made a casual comment that I wasn't afraid of anyone.
Badda Bing, Badda Bang, two days later me and one of my best buddies were squared off behind the cafeteria.
He had braces. When we finished, he looked like he had lost a prize fight due to the blood coming from his lips.
He was a lefty and my right ear rang for a month.
When we got through, he went to the bathroom to clean up and I went to class.
No reason, just a fight.
