Went by to see an old friend of mine in May. He said he was feeling really bad said he didn't think he would live through summer. He went to the doctor after I saw him he has Hep C and it has destroyed his liver. I went by to see him today and he looked horrible, lost 70 lbs since I saw him in May. They told him there was nothing they could do. Told him he could go to Kansas City and have some sort of tips procedure done I think is what he said. They like replumb some stuff around the liver I think. Said it would buy him some time. Said he didn't qualify for liver transplant because you had to be completely alcohol free to 6 months it has only been about 3 for him. They told him he wouldn't make it the next three months. He told them he was done with procedures he was done.
I've know the guy 33 year he was a hunting, fishing buddy, drank beer together told jokes great guy help you every time. Once we were going to go fishing and his wife was telling us we wouldn't catch any fish said we would drink beer and only catch a buzz. She told us if we caught any fish no matter what time it was when we got home to wake her up, and she would fry them for us. Well we didn't catch any fish but ran into a buddy that had caught a lot of fish that day. He said he would give us some. We made him throw us the fish where we could say we caught them and not be fibbing. She got up and cooked fish for us about 4 in the am. Never told her the real story. I will be telling it to her later today.
