I'd be interested in your thoughts. saw the 7pm showing. Some non-spoiler observations:
- This might be the best one yet. Just all around awesome.
- JJ Abrams might be as good as George Lucas. Great balance of nostalgia / being true to the roots + new stuff.
- Rey could turn a Jedi straight and definitely gives Leia sans ROJ a run for her money. And yes, she's over 18....I checked.
- Contrary to popular belief, Harrison Ford can still act. So can Chewbacca
- technology has definitely made the action scenes better. Unbelievable fighter scenes.
- There are way too many +40 year old dudes that find it acceptable to dress up in costumes. I saw some nerd spend five minutes trying to figure out how to take a piss without dribbling on his Jedi robe. Who are these people?
- It's definitely worth it to spend the extra Lincoln for the 3D version.
- the new emperor dude looks like Nick saban.
