Mateer appears to be a Sooner soon enough . BB has a nice T committed and is in the hunt for several good interior OL. WR visits will pickup the next week and Mateer should inspire some confidence. Defensively the portal losses have been minimal and I trust the staff to add some solid rotational players.
The one massive elephant in the room is really starting to cause frustration. There is absolutely zero reason for JJF to continue to be on staff. EJ or even Demarco can calls plays for a glorified scrimmage with limited possessions against Navy. With each passing day OU is hurting itself in TE recruiting as long as JJF is on staff.
