Yeah, my thread really got jacked hard with political bs. This is the wrong message board for what you all keep talking about. I'm talking about playing Bama Friday at 4. Some of you are engaged in name calling and divisiveness. I don't understand why things are so different now. I come from a very conservative family, including myself! Our way of life has always been in the oil field. My dad spent all his life working on drilling rigs and was actually working in Saudi Arabia when he finally retired. I followed in his footsteps, but I had a hemorrhagic stroke after 26 years of working on the rigs. If it wasn't for that, I would still be doing it. The point is, we are all pro oil production. When the price of oil is up, so we're we. We didn't care about the politics of other people. It was just understood what was best for us. We didn't always get what we wanted. I remember $7 bbl oil and making $6.50/hr for roughnecking. Oh well. At least I had a job that took care of me and my family.
No more political rhetoric! Everything is going to be fine. The price of oil will come back!!!
