I think OU will win this one, kind of ugly. I think we will see a 50-50 offense, with the RB's getting half the load and wearing down Houston. If Stoops and Riley open up the playbook, OU could run away with this one but I doubt Stoops and Riley will.

I think they will wear down Houston front 7 and get a lot of Sooner fans frustrated, when we don't pass on 1st and 2nd downs as often as we normally would. I expect to hear a lot of people talk about the predictability of OU, offense in this game. I don't expect OU to run 70 plus plays on offense, like we normally do. I do expect to see, some busted plays on Houston defense when we sneak a hurry up pass play, that catches the defense napping. Houston without the depth, will not be able to hang, in the second half. I think OU scores in the mid to high 30's, unless we have two RB with over 100 yards each and then, it gets ugly.

I think Houston is a pretty good team. Though they beat FSU pretty easily I don't think they are better than FSU. Golson was suspended for the Peach Bowl. Losing him really hurt the Seminole offense. My guess is we will struggle early, but win by a score of something like 38 to 24.

I think we will have to have success throwing the ball deep and running the ball. On defense we better do a good job of keeping Ward in the pocket. I don't think he can beat us throwing the ball.

It took me entirely to long to realize this thread was started last year. I thought some of yall had gotten retardeder, talking bout the Zips.

Our starters put it on Houston early and our twos and threes have some trouble down the stretch, keeping the score from being too ugly.

Come on guys, this is Houston. OU 45 Houston 17. Uh wait, first game of the season, Sooners ranked #3 and on the road hmmm OU 35 Houston 21

Perine BigXII Offensive player of the week. Houston small inexperienced Oline will lead to a lot of three and out. I look for Stoops to pound the rock and burn up the clock. Along with, not opening up the playbook

Walker, BigXII Defensive player of the week. That small Oline doesn't stand a chance against the Big Boy. Jordan Thomas just might takeaway some of the glory with a pick 6 or two. Houston, Oline will put them in a lot of 2nd and 3rd and long situations. So the Big Boy will tee off and Thomas will, sit back and gets some picks.
