Ok. who will win Cowboys or Packers?

That catch on the sideline that set the Packers up for the game winner was one of the best receptions I have ever seen.
It was just one of those plays that true champions rise to the occasion and make. The end of the game last night was just insane!!! Very similar to the end of the Clemson/Alabama game. Just a back and forth to end it. Man that kicker for Green Bay earned every penny he is payed last night. 2 FG's over 50yds last night to make the difference and win the game. Actually 3 if you count the one where Dallas got the timeout in at the very last second. Lol

Dallas should have sent in Whitten and maybe Dez in to bull rush and the kitchen sink to cover on that play. It should never have happened.

They had a 3 man rush, and a spy on aaron. He rolled out to avoide this rush allowing him time to set up a play. The spy was blocked, and Rogers did as Rogers does. In the end, the Dallas D-Line was suspect going into the draft last year. They elected to use their #4 pick on Zeke which I agree with. But they also elected to go with Randy Gregory as their pass rush specialist which failed miserably. Ironically, it was the last play of the season that showcased their weakness. They had a great year but are still missing a peice or two to be a Super Bowl team.

Certainly nothing for Cowboys fans to be disappointed about. From 4-12 with no solud backup for Romo to top seeded NFC team with Romo on the bench. They do need a few more pieces, and unless Jerry acts like Jerry, hopefully they'll get what they need to be competing in the Superbowl next seaso.

Dallas reminds me of OU. Long time since the super bowl. Good QB, great running back excellent receivers, with not so good defense.

They've been mimicking each other for a good 10 years, I've felt.
Think about all of those years with Romo showing impressive QBing skills only to get embarrassed in big games... <cough> Landry <cough>
And recently in the last 5 or so years being absolutely pathetic in the defensive backfield.

Jerry may be the front man these days for the sake of media, but it's Stephen Jones that's running the draft these days. And ever since this transition took place, the Cowboys have drafted very well.

And as long as he keeps it that way and doesn't go back to being "Jerry," I have some faith the Cowboys will be competitive.

O-Line, Dak, Elliott, and Dez is guaranteed success.
I hope they go full stop on defense this draft - maybe another TE or receiver at good value.

They need a pass rusher bad. I am sure they will get one

That was the great debate before this past season's draft.
DL, RB, or QB.... w/ the #4 overall pick. They of course chose to go w/ Elliot and I think it was the right pick. They did their homework on Dak, but he wasn't their first choice. But their research paid off & it worked out really well. But it's the QB sack specialist they really need. I hope they answer this in free agency somehow and use as many picks as possible on Defense, specifically DL, LB, & Saftey. Unless they move up in the draft, they'll select low in each round so they may have to take the best player on the board.
