I'm sure this has been addressed on here many times before but I am in the dark.

Why does it seem like the cameras are filming Big 12 games from outer space while games from the SEC and others feature close up shots that serve to compliment the physical nature of their games?

While watching the TCU v. OSU game yesterday I was amazed how tiny the players look as a result of the camera placement and the effect it has on the apparent lack of physicality in the game.

As a result, when you watch a game like BAMA v LSU or FSU v. Clemson it seems like they are gladiators blowing each other up on every play.

But, when you watch a Big 12 game it seems like you're watching 14 yr olds playing touch football.

I realize it is a more physical style of football in many other conferences but the wide angle shots seem to magnify the differences.
