Heard it from several K-State sources that Bill Snyder and Brent "Red Bull By The Gallon" Venables were in contact with each other. Does this mean he is the next Wildcats Coach ? Snyder does like to keep the shade under the tree....hmmmmm. A Clemson distraction perhaps?

I read where he's grooming his son for the job................Wildcat attack...HA!

I've heard that Bill wants his son to replace him and was told it wouldn't happen. Like most rumors, who knows? Not even sure that the leaders in Manhattan know. One thing for sure. If BV were to take the job, he'd have to start putting a staff and a recruiting class together. But I can't imagine it's true for this recruiting class. It would have be be for next December if he's taking the job. Bill will behind the scenes agree that this will be his last year and Brent takes it at next season's end. And that sounds preposterous.

You can't take an HC job for next season without planting your recruiting flag for February very soon. If he were doing that, word would leak out.

I can't think of a better fit for K-State. I hope Venebles is offered, and he takes, the job. The Big 12 needs a strong K-State.

That's correct.
It's imperative that all the teams in the Big 12 hold their own. Even if and especially if OU has to aspire to even greater expectations.

If OU is going to be the bell cow, then good... what better team in the league to carry that banner?

It's the natural order really. A strong league only pushes the favs (OU) to higher goals.
