“No one wants to play them (OU) twice” - Gary Patterson #Big12MediaDays

I believe Patterson was actually looking forward to playing OU in the Big 12 Championship last season. I think he was second guessing himself at the end of the 3rd quarter the second time around. OU coasting through the second half of the 1st game made him believe it was due to tcu being on OU's level. However, I think he truly believed OU was the best team in the nation after meeting up with OU at Jerry World.

You could tell he was extremely frustrated with OU during the Rose Bowl. I think he expected OU to roll georgia. Man that loss really hurts. Being a defensive minded guy, you know Patterson was shaking his head at OU's defense against the 'dogs.
