Next year will not be easy in basketball

I was hoping OU would take a big leap in basketball (next season). Looking at this projection of top teams, the Big 12 is going to be tough.

Being down on football I was hoping OU would be a contender for NC in basketball. Well, I suppose we have to play in order to find out what happens.

Hard to complain about a preseason ranking of 7. ESPN has us at 9 and Joe Lunardi has us as a 3 seed in OKC. I'll take it.

Way too early for rankings - if we lose Buddy, no way are we a 7 or 9 or even Top 25. They should wait to rank teams until after the draft.
