Okay fellas, ladies...
The first version of our the new Rivals.com app has been released on both Android through the Google Play Store and on iOS through the App Store on ITunes.
FOR iOS/Apple/IPhone/IPad USERS THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!
You MUST be a subscriber to Rivals.com to use the App on iOS. Apple wouldn't accept our app with our registration function built into the app so we are having to workaround that for a future release.
So to use iOS, you have to subscribe on the site before you download the app. I know that doesn't really apply to anyone reading this because you are all subscribers. But I had to clear that up.

ANDROID USERS
The app is up and available for free in the Google Play Store.

If you have any issues (you will have issues because this is the first release of a major new product for us) then feel free to post them here. I'll take any known bugs and pass them on to the engineers and developers. We'll continue putting out new releases, fixing bugs and adding features.
It's a new day at Rivals. We won't be sitting around with the same website for 15 years anymore.
HERE'S A WALKTHROUGH/TUTORIAL OF THE APP
When you first open the app, it will ask you to login with your account information:
One you have logged in, make sure you go to your settings page to setup your notifications. Select settings on the bottom right.
Choose Oklahoma and open your settings:
If you don't want notifications turn them off. We will make sure only to send important news out through notifications. Breaking news in sports/recruiting/final scores. Your forum notifications are up to you based on how you setup your profile notifications.
Once you've done that, feel free to look around the app
Articles shows you the homepage with a list of articles on the site
Forums takes you to the message board menu
Notifications shows you a list of notifications you might have missed
And teams lets you browse other sites on the Rivals.com network
