The ‘20 team should be the first team in a while with 3 or 4 very good to elite classes stacked. Each of those classes had strengths that should lead to that being an incredibly deep year for OU on a relative basis.

17 strengths-lb and db, OL especially interior, wr
18 strengths-DL, Edge, LB, Nickle/Free Safety
19 Strengths- elite qb, WR, corner, hopefully Tackle, hopefully S
20 strengths- early but would guess RB, OL, unknown on d

In theory, those classes fit pretty well. A second year qb and first year running back with a veteran interior line and second year wr targets mixed with a couple vets sounds good.

Mature DL, mature lb and talented, experienced dbs should be a really nice blend. There is isn’t a glaring hole for 20. You always want more DL, edge, and OT but this is better than it has been for a decade. Props to Bob, Riley, Cale and all the staff. It is more impressive collectively because it isn’t hammering dbs or wrs every year and leaving a huge hole somewhere.

Also odd that the one lightly recruited spot was the ‘18 offense. I’m sure stars will develop but those guys will probably be behind some others as far as rankings.
