Some Carson Meier here. Eat, and then back at it.
Carson Meier
- Would love joke about things 'n stuff like that, but you realize Sat was a special moment for Meier:
- Didn't notice a huge change in camp but credits Beamer for the way he was able to improve.
- Block to spring Anderson?
"That was fun. I love getting out there blocking just as much catching. There’s not as much glory that goes in catching, but it was exciting. It’s a big part of the game. Saw him come off the edge, and once he was passed me, I knew he was gone. That’s one of those plays you get out there, you get the call lined up, you see the defense, and before the snap is even there, you know it’s a touchdown." - Meier
- Ever get discouraged not starting until being a fifth year senior?
"Not at all. Being an Oklahoma guy, playing at Oklahoma is something you dream about your whole life. Being here, I know I was kinda stuck behind two incredible players in Mark Andrews and Dimitri Flowers. Both guys that were top of the line for us. Being behind them and getting to learn from them and kinda see what they do is something that has really helped me out. Knew whenever my time came along, I’d have to go in there and do what I’ve been coached to do." - Meier

We're not getting any true or redshirt freshmen yet, so makes it a lil strange. Dru Samia, Shane Beamer and Bill Bedenbaugh did say some good stuff. But first? Eat.
