Post practice tidbits from this morning
* Bill Bedenbaugh could not stop praising Dru Samia today. He loves the kid. Absolutely loves the kid. Thinks he has a real chance of playing this year. He's just adapted in a very uncommon way. Josiah St. John even bragged on him when I gave him the chance.
* St. John is doing well. He worked hard this summer to take off bad weight to get ready for this up-tempo offense.
* Mark Andrews said once spring was over he and Jerry Schmidt and the OU coaches decided to have him drop some weight. He's down 10 pounds since the end of spring and feels it will help him with his quickness and overall speed.
* Bedenbaugh had really, really high praise for Joe Mixon and what he's seen of him since the spring. Gushed about how he hasn't been around someone like him before. Said he's been around Tavon Austin, but Mixon is obviously much bigger and runs more physical. Samia and Mixon were two guys who couldn't say enough about today.
