You would have to say Shep and Striker are two components that are noticeably missing from this year's team (spirit and body). Shep has so much natural talent that was to Mayfield's benefit... and Striker was the ultimate disrupter. Not sure if their missing pieces can be filled in this season. Not seeing them in any replacements. Lots of hype this team had preseason...justification TBD.

Good call on Shep and Striker, but since I feel the D is the most help needed right now, I'd have to include Sanchez and Tapper as my missing links.

No disrespect to Striker, he was a great Sooner on and off the field, but he did not have that great a season last year. Teams pretty much took him out of the equation. Shepard on the other hand was money.
