Men's Gymnastics. OU edges Stanford to win four team event at Cal Berkeley

OU's men remained undefeated for the year, scoring 432.200 and winning four events to finish ahead of number two Stanford scoring 426.850. The Sooners won four of the six events. Their biggest margin in any event was 74.050 to 71.950 in Vault. The Sooners second largest score was on Rings, 73.250, exactly one point higher than the Cardinal

Stanford won two events: Floor 71.800 and Horizontal Bar 71.350. Both schools were over 70 in five of six events, with Pommel Horse. OU was 69.950 and Stanford 68.750.

OU beat Stanford in a dual in Palo Alto by less than half a point, but both teams were missing their best all around gymnasts. In this event Stanford's Akash Modi won the all around, 88.000 to OU's Yul Moldauer's 87.600. But overall, OU's team performed better overall than five weeks ago. OU's Allen Bower was third in the All Around with 86.000

Cal, the host of this event, finished third with a score of 410.100.Air Force was fourth with 402.900.

OU had four individual winners. Levi Anderson had a 15.000 on HBar. Yul Moldauer scored 15.500 to edge Modi by .050 on PBars. Bower and Hunter Justus were third and fourth. Matt Wenske won the Vault at 15.050. OU's Alex Powarzynski and Tanner Justus were second and third. Muldoauer also won Rings with a 15.400.

But Muldauer's 13.450 was more than a point behind Modi on HBar, costing him the All Around.

This was the final men's event before the NCAA championships at West Point in two weeks.
