Mayfield may be the perfect Dark Horse

After last night's superb performance in Waco, Baker Mayfield's name was finally mentioned as a Heisman candidate on College Football Final. Baker definitely has a chance for an invite if he has similar games against TCU and O-State. He could win! He is deserving for sure. Wouldn't that be cool?

Good stuff. During the game last night the television crew posted Baker's numbers versus Sam's and Jason's during their Heisman year which are very comparable.

This may sound corny but Baker's "story" is made for TV stuff. If he continues at the same pace in big, meaningful (as in OU gets in the playoffs) season changing victories, the media would eat it up. The Heisman had always loved a good storyline. Keep voting for Baker.

Here it is November 21st just a couple of weeks or so to go before the Heisman winner is announced, and I just saw Baker Mayfield's name come across the bottom of the ESPN Game Day broadcast as #2 in the Heisman race. Unfricking believable!!!
