Interesting... Public Intoxication in the state of Texas is one of the stupidest charges/crimes that ranks right up there with having an excessively loud exhaust system on a vehicle...

Officer's discretion, or indiscretion... There is no "test" to determine sobriety for PI, nor is there a defined decibel level for excessively loud anything... More victimless crimes, about as unAmerican as it gets...

Innocent until proven guilty... "Our proof is this occifer says you was drunk, therefore you was..."
