you may have heard of the OU fan who suffered a heart attack during the first qtr of the KSU game and passed away at the hospital a short time later? he was an industry associate, and so a sometime visitor to me here at work, who loved to brag or sob about the latest OU actions. we had many great discussions about OU football. Bart Cook was 46-years old and as loyal an OU bro as you could find. Went to most every game and cheered his head off. knew he had a serious weight problem but that boy lived for beer and burgers and we know that's hard to turn down. will miss his passion for the sooners and his passion for life. he loved to fire up the grill and go brat crazy.. RIP Big B

Sorry for your loss of a friend, and the loss of a great Sooner fan.

KSU 19 will be remembered for a lot of things much more important than college football. Rest In Peace for your friend and condolences to his family and friends.

He can live on in OU tales about the fan so big that the head-scratching loss to KSU in 2019 killed him.

Feel bad for you and his family. Losing a friend to suicide is hard to take. You always wonder if there was something you could have done...
no scot it wasn't suicide. he had a heart attack in the stands. we are told by folks there that the staff took him as quickly as they could to the hospital that's across the street from the stadium but doctors could not revive him.
