Looks like Bledsoe is leaving.

So, he won't be playing in the Orange Bowl? Either way, those are some big shoes to fill. He played really well this season, especially the last 4-5 games. All the best to him.

You think Bledsoe is going to pass up the opportunity to win a National Championship? LOL

No, I'm not saying he's passing anything up. I was simply asking if he was going to play in the OB or if he was going to skip it for this Collegiate Bowl game (which I've never heard of before). Now I know. Sheesh....

Schoonerman my old friend. How could you know? That Bowl game is three weeks AFTER the Orange Bowl game and two weeks AFTER the National Championship game.

I would guess he finishes both games with OU then he plays in that NFL Bowl.

Why are people here acting like these guys will miss the Orange Bowl?! This is just an extra showcase type game (see Senior Bowl which Baker played in last year) after the Season (Including Bowl Games) is completed. Unless this is a fishing expedition...…..

Exactly!

Just released today his appeal was denied.
Well, that sucks for him. Although, honestly this was the only foreseeable result, as his appeal was based on "trust me, I didn't know" and "it wasn't mine". If the NCAA had overturned it, EVERY future suspended player would use the same arguments and they'd have to overturn them all.

Worst of all, his story very well may be true. It's just impossible to prove. His only chance would have been for Abdul Adams to admit he was the one to taint the supplement then giving it to Bledsoe without Bledsoe's knowledge. And that was never going to happen.

Wish nothing but the best for Bledsoe going forward.

And just read the Court decision on the pay boards. This wasn't an appeal with the NCAA, it was a lawsuit brought by Bledsoe against the NCAA regarding enforcement of their own rules. It looks like a quick kick to the nuts by the judge, saying that the NCAA can indeed enforce their rules.
