I thought BV was a linebacker guru and he would bring in some crazy good talent to plat that position. Going back and looking at the last couple of recruiting classes, cupboard is pretty empty when it comes to that position. with Stutsman gone next year it could be a huge drop off in talent. Who do yall see getting the starts. Lewis, Mackenzie, Kanak???

I assume it will be Lewis or Kanak at this point. I think we are in an era where playing time and NIL are the main drivers to who comes to a school. I am not suggesting that is the case with all players but if you are a top 250 recruit there is no time like the present to cash in and that is only viable if you are a projected starter unless you go to a school with unlimited resources. I am not trying to make excuses for BV on this one but it really seems to be the wild west at the moment. I equate it to free agency with no salary cap. Jerry Jones would be proud.
