LSU reached out basically the second Kendal Daniels was released from his letter of intent to Texas A&M. Oklahoma State didn't wait all too much longer. And for OSU it was head coach Mike Gundy making the call.
So a few questions heading into this weekend.
1. We know OU is interested, but how much? Will Sooners go all-in here? Or make an initial effort and just pass if things still don't add up for what they want?
2. Will either side budge about what happened in the summer, in terms of mis-communication? Basically, how much will pride play into things?
3. How quickly does Daniels want to get this done?
To answer a previous thread, no, Daniels was not a mid-year enrollee for Texas A&M. He is home in Beggs right now. It's not like he got to College Station and then hated it. This was about (at least as the main reason) Ishmael Aristide leaving for Miami, when that was the staff member Daniels had built the bond with.
Can't confirm OU will reach out today or this weekend, so just gonna have to wait 'n see.
