Just some thoughts about this website

I'm getting serious here. For the old timers: does oklabama remind you of the great poster golfer john? He was always trying to make peace between posters in the old days. I read where he passed away.....

SoonerMudd would have destroyed some of the posters on this board today. He was a trial lawyer from what I read and he absolutely destroyed the visiting team posters and negative nellies.

Here's my point. Nothing has changed from today and when I joined in 1999 under a different handle. Nobody will change the course of this board. Why do you want too?

Okay...definitely to the Holiday Inn Express tonight. I'll probably understand the post in the morning..........;)

Just throwing some Motorhead lyrics out there to confuse...

"They say music is the food of love,
Let's see if you're hungry enough.
Take a bite, take another,
Just like a good boy would.

Get a sweet thing on the side,
Home cookin', it's homicide.
Side order, could be your daughter,
Finger lickin' good... "

The key is to listen at a very high volume... louder is better...

BTW, when Mudd was getting some heavy pressure to change his posting style, I was the one that suggested they name the Sooner trash talking board after him so he could post freely on that venue. They did, but a few weeks later he was perma- banned. Great memories.............HA!

Oh yeah, he was a mods nightmare...very popular, controversial and brought energy to the venue, so they were always conflicted about scolding him.

You missing on Lemmie too?

You missing on Lemmie too?

Actually missing on 1250 watts to play my Motorhead, Rush, Danzig, April Wine, etc. after blowing it up. :(

So I'll replace the old 5.1 with a better 7.2 surround sound. Thing is, my two front speakers are early 80's Fischer 3-ways with 15" woofers. They are rated for 150 watts, yet have handled 250 just fine. Throw in two self powered 18" subs with 250 watts each and I can load it up to 2250 watts. You can hear things that you never knew were there before. That is a month away though, which totally sucks...

I get what you mean though. I like to feel the bass in my chest cavity...

Absolutely. As well as Mozart, Beethoven, Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, James Brown, Carol King... the list is long. No Carpenters or Bee Gees. I do have my limits...

Carol King? Seriously?

I'm not making sport at all.
In fact, if you were a cop and pulled me over, you might get an earful of Frank Sinatra...or Avenged Sevenfold...I'm very eclectic.

I remember them both, very, very well. I paid attention to Mudd's posting style...very closely. ;)

That girl can sing, and write...
Frank is great, as is Duke Ellington, Dave Mustaine and Luciano Pavarotti. I listen to all of them, very loudly...:D
