Just spoke to Devwah Whaley. He seems very excited about the visit this weekend to campus. He's leaving tomorrow, driving up and will be staying through Saturday.
He said he was really excited to get up here and meet coach Riley and coach Stoops and get to know them a little bit better
He doesn't seem to be too concerned about OU having young RBs in Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon and just really wants to get to know more about OU.
We talked about all the controversy lately and I noticed he retweeted Bob Stoops' message about working together to stand up against racism. He said he didn't have any concerns about that on OU's campus and that isn't something he's going to concern himself with while he's on campus. He said he knows that stuff happens in places other than Oklahoma and didn't act like there was anything negative that was going to affect him.
Just seems like a guy that is really excited to get up here and talk more to the coaches and get to know more about OU football.
