I've asked the same question. Yeah, why is the cupboard dry? What does that say about the OL recruiting for the last few years?

I suspect it's recruiting. There has been change in all Coaches of the offense for a couple of years. This can, does and has effected recruiting. IMO, Stoops has made the changes he needed. It's time to watch it play out to see if it was for the better. Riley is new. The offense is new. The QB is new. The LT is new. There is a lot of 'new' teaching, learning, and then executing that needs to take place. IMO, Stoops bought him some time offensively with the changes in the off season.

Defensively, there's no solid excuse and/or reasoning for Saturday's performance. We can only hope it improves as the season unfolds, unlike last year when the coaches lost the team at the bowl game.
