In speaking to multiple sources last night and this morning, I’ve learned that the Sooners are VERY high on Hays (Kan.) 2027 OL Gus Corsair, who projects as a center at the next level. In fact, they’re high enough on him that OU is weighing an offer based on his camp performance today.
Spoke to Corsair’s father here at the camp, and the family has roots in Oklahoma. There’s a lot of Sooner fandom in Corsair’s circle, so especially if Bedenbaugh were to extend him his first offer, I’m told it ought to be extremely difficult to unseat Oklahoma in the race for Corsair’s pledge.
